Akash is part of Electric's Advisor Network. He advises founders on engineering architecture and building and scaling high-performing engineering teams.

Akash brings deep experience scaling technology organizations at high-growth companies across payments, fintech, and marketplace platforms. He was CTO of MoonPay and CTO at Afterpay, where he founded and led the technology teams responsible for Afterpay's US expansion before Block acquired the company in 2021 for $29 billion.

Previously, Akash led all technology products for Uber's 3.5+ million drivers including onboarding, compliance, and driver experience. He also led technical teams at Twitter that added tens of millions of users to the platform. His experience spans building products from early stage through massive scale across some of technology's most impactful companies.
