Baz is a seasoned people leader, coach, and trusted advisor with over two decades of experience shaping high-performance teams at some of the world's most influential tech companies. Prior to joining Electric, Baz spent 15 years at Meta, where she held a range of senior HR leadership roles, including VP of HR Business Partners. She supported executives across Facebook and WhatsApp, helping guide teams through hypergrowth, organizational change, and some of the most complex people challenges in tech. Baz's work at Meta combined strategic thinking with deep empathy—advising C-suite leaders on how to scale their leadership, evolve company culture, and navigate difficult decisions with clarity and integrity.

Before Meta, Baz held senior HR roles at Apple, Yahoo, and Inktomi, and began her career in labor relations and compensation. Across every chapter, she has been known as a coach, mentor, problem-solver, and truth-teller—a people-first operator who cuts through noise and helps leaders see what really matters. Her passion lies in helping ambitious founders build with heart, lead with clarity, and grow with intention. Baz has a Bachelors in International Relations from University of California, Davis.
